Obituary of Eldon Groh

Eldon passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Maitland Manor in Goderich, Ontario on Monday, September 10, 2012. Predeceased by his loving wife, Jean. They spent several wonderful years living in Meneset Park. Survived by his brother, Charlie (Agnes) and pre-deceased by his brother, Wilfred (Reta) and sister, Edna. Survived by sister-in-law, Sister Georgina, Bertie Bechtel, Natalie Legault (John), brothers-in-law, Carol Nightingale, John Grubb (Marge) and Earl Grubb (Audrey). Eldon is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews. Eldon enjoyed painting as a hobby and his family enjoyed many of his pieces of artwork. Special thanks to Gary and Theresa for their excellent care of Jean and Eldon over the years as well as the staff at Maitland Manor during their stay. Visitation will take place at St Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 156 North Street, Goderich on Friday, September 14th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. A reception will follow in the church hall. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau, at 3:30 P.M.
