Obituary of Barbara McVean

Barbara Elizabeth McVean, Peacefully at Clinton Public Hospital, on Tuesday January 8, 2013 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Robert "Scotty" McVean (2005). Born in Clinton on November 27,1923. Barb's kindness and "spirit of doing it the right way" will be remembered by all those whose life she touched. She will be greatly missed by her eldest son Robert, (Tatiana) daughter Louise (David) and son Peter (Leslie), grandchildren Scott and Erin MacVean, Jennifer and Jeremy Allan, and Alison MacVean, great grandchild Weylin Shanahan. Sister of Helen Edith Elliott. Also missed by Bud and by all her special wildlife in her back yard in Bayfield. At Barbara's request there will be no memorial service or visitation. A private family inurnment in the Bayfield Cemetery will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Clinton Public Hospital for their care and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Peter Salsbury for all his years of care for Mom.
