Marion will be fondly remembered for her passion for gardening, and her beautifully manicured flowerbeds. She sat at the helm of the boat navigating the waters of Lake Erie and Lake Huron, whilst "ole Red" dragged his fishing line along. Together, she and Harold enjoyed their trips out to British Columbia. Marion enjoyed the theatre and frequented Huron County Playhouse with her "Red Hat" friends. She was a talented watercolor artist as well as tole painter and she enjoyed her antique collections. Her grandchildren will remember building gingerbread villages with her every Christmas and decorating her trees with hand-painted ornaments. Her grace, beauty, kindness and smile will leave a lasting impression on all the lives that she has touched. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate care given to Marion during her 3 years of residence at Huronview and in particular to her final days. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes – Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Drive, Goderich on Friday, November 13th from 2 - 4 p.m. A private family service will be held at Lakeshore United Church, Goderich.
