Obituary of Izaak De Jager

De JAGER: Izaak At Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich, on Sunday, April 10, 2016, in his 93rd year. Cherished father of Sophia Beattie of Edmonton, and John and Lisa De Jager of Goderich. Beloved Pake to Tina Beattie and Brian Vincent of Edmonton; Izaak, Meghan, and Stephen De Jager of Goderich. Sadly missed by great-grandson Noah Vincent of Edmonton. Dear brother-in-law of Jerry and Marie Klaver, Simcoe, Sylvia Klaver, St. Thomas, and Neil and Dirkje Klaver, Stratford. Also survived by nieces and nephews in Canada and the Netherlands. Predeceased by his wife, Gertrude and his sister, Lolkje, of Tzummarum, Friesland. Friends will be received at Falconer Funeral Homes – Bluewater Chapel, 201 Suncoast Drive, East, Goderich on Thursday, April 14th from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 1:00 - 1:45 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 9 Victoria Street, North, Goderich, where the Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Bill Vanderstelt officiating. Interment, Colborne Cemetery, Colborne Township. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to Shelter Canada, which seeks to provide solid, secure, safe homes for families in El Salvador that are in great need.
