Obituary of Helen Gowing

Peacefully at Clinton Public Hospital, on Monday October 21, 2013 Mrs. Helen (Turvey) Gowing of Huronview Clinton, and formerly of Blyth in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman Gowing. Dearly loved mother of Gail Chalmers of Kincardine, Glenna & Ross Pannabecker of RR #5 Goderich, Carol & Bob Mommersteeg of Bayfield, and Kim & Bill Stride of Breslau. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son in law Wally Chalmers and by her 7 siblings. Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes - Blyth Chapel, 407 Queen St., Blyth, on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday October 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment Blyth Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Blyth Festival Theatre, Blyth United Church, or the Charity of One's Choice would be greatly appreciated.
