Obituary of Ruth Beane

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO PUBLIC CELEBRATION OF LIFE BEANE: E. Ruth, R.N. Passed away at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital on Monday, March 16, 2020. Eleanor Ruth Beane, R.N. of Goderich in her 79th year. Married to Lawrence Beane for 56 years. Ruth Graduated in 1962 from Brantford General Hospital's Nursing Program. She worked at Ritz Villa in Mitchell for 19 years. Mother to Scott Beane of Regina, Saskatchewan and Steven Beane and his wife Kimberly of Dearborn, Michigan. Grandmother of Sebastian and Angus. Sister of Betty Prensler of Burlington, Ontario. Predeceased by her brother James, sister Jean, brothers-in-law Douglas, John and Beverly, grandson Peter, great grandson Matthew and niece Michelle. Ruth loved to sing, bake and tend to and arrange flowers. A private family Funeral Service was held at Falconer Funeral Homes - Bluewater Chapel, Goderich. The public Celebration of Ruth's life planned for Saturday May 2, 2020 at the South Cove Clubhouse, 300 Bethune Crescent, Goderich is postponed and will be rescheduled after the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted. Interment, Baird's Cemetery, Stanley Township, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
